Our Commitment to Quality, Nutrition, and Well-Socialized Kittens

At Redpaw Cattery, we believe that raising exceptional kittens starts long before they ever meet their new families. Every decision we make—from nutrition to socialization—is centered around producing healthy, confident, and well-adjusted cats that will thrive in their forever homes.

Premium Nutrition with Royal Canin

One of the most important foundations of a kitten’s health is proper nutrition. That’s why we proudly feed our cats and kittens Royal Canin, a globally trusted name in feline nutrition.

Royal Canin formulas are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of cats at every stage of life. Their kitten diets are carefully balanced to support:

  • Strong immune system development
  • Healthy digestion
  • Optimal growth and bone development
  • Brain and vision development

Unlike generic pet foods, Royal Canin uses targeted nutrition backed by scientific research. This ensures that our kittens receive consistent, high-quality nourishment during their most critical stages of development.

By feeding a premium diet from the very beginning, we help set the foundation for:

  • Healthier coats and skin
  • Better digestion and litter box habits
  • Stronger overall vitality

We strongly encourage our families to continue feeding a high-quality diet after bringing their kitten home, and we’re always happy to provide guidance on nutrition.

Health Comes First

The health and well-being of our cats is our top priority—never an afterthought.

All of our kittens are raised in a clean, carefully managed environment and receive age-appropriate veterinary care before going to their new homes. This includes:

  • Routine wellness checks
  • Age-appropriate vaccinations
  • Parasite prevention and treatment
  • Close monitoring of growth and development

We take a proactive approach to health, which means we don’t just react to problems—we work to prevent them.

In addition, we stand behind the quality of our kittens with a health guarantee. While no breeder can promise perfection, we are committed to transparency, ethical breeding practices, and doing everything in our power to ensure each kitten is set up for a long, healthy life.

Raised in a Home, Not a Facility

Our kittens are not raised in cages or isolated spaces—they are raised right in our home as part of our daily lives.

From the moment they are born, they are handled, observed, and cared for closely. This environment allows them to become familiar with:

  • Household sounds (TV, vacuum, everyday activity)
  • Human interaction from an early age
  • Routine handling and affection

This early exposure plays a huge role in shaping their temperament.

Well-Socialized and Family-Ready

A beautiful kitten is only part of the equation. Temperament matters just as much—if not more.

We put significant time and effort into ensuring our kittens are well-socialized before they ever leave us. This includes:

  • Daily human interaction
  • Gentle handling from a young age
  • Exposure to different environments within the home
  • Encouraging playful, curious behavior

The result is a kitten that is:

  • Confident, not fearful
  • Affectionate and people-oriented
  • Adaptable to new homes and environments

Whether you are a first-time cat owner or an experienced pet parent, this makes a noticeable difference in the transition process.

Ethical, Responsible Breeding

We are a small, family-run cattery, and we take that responsibility seriously. Our focus is on quality—not quantity.

We carefully select our breeding cats based on:

  • Health
  • Temperament
  • Breed standards
  • Overall well-being

We do not mass-produce kittens. Each litter is planned with intention, and each kitten receives individual attention and care.

This approach allows us to maintain the highest standards while ensuring every kitten is given the time, attention, and resources they deserve.

A Lifetime of Support

When you bring home a kitten from Redpaw Cattery, you’re not just making a purchase—you’re becoming part of our extended family.

We are always available to answer questions and provide support on topics such as:

  • Nutrition
  • Transitioning your kitten home
  • Behavior and training
  • General care

Our goal is to make sure both you and your kitten have the best possible experience, not just on day one, but for years to come.

Investing in Quality

We understand that bringing home a purebred kitten is a meaningful investment. The quality of care, nutrition, and time we put into raising each kitten is reflected in that.

From premium feeding with Royal Canin to hands-on socialization and health oversight, every detail is intentional.

When you choose one of our kittens, you’re choosing:

  • A strong, healthy start
  • A well-adjusted companion
  • A breeder who genuinely cares

If you have any questions about our process, nutrition, or what makes our kittens different, we’re always happy to talk.
